Red Barn Youth Center Board consists of a diverse group of individuals consisting of business owners, business professionals, managers, and community volunteers.  The board meets on a regular basis and seeks new members.

Partnerships

Partnerships are vital to any nonprofit organization and will enhance the Red Barn’s

mission to be a place for teens to connect.

  • Peninsula Public Schools:  Daily bus service provided from Henderson Bay, Peninsula High School, Key Peninsula Middle School.
  • Two Waters Art Alliance: Biweekly art classes provided by local professional artists.
  • Key Peninsula Library: Special monthly projects at the Red Barn. 
  • Key Pen Parks: Provides a partnership for youth to serve in their community through special events and projects. Helps with grounds-keeping on our site.
  • Key Peninsula Community Council Transportation on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday is provided for those students living along the KP School Bus Connects route.
  • Communities in Schools: Assistance is provided as needed.
  • Children’s Home Society: Concentrating on the whole child ensures needs are met through our partnership with the Family Resource Center.
  • The Peninsula Youth Violence Prevention:  This coalition believes in the value of caring adults in the lives of youth and offer training and collaborations which enhance each organization’s ability to serve the youth of our community – meets monthly at KMPS.
  • Gig Harbor Midday Rotary: The rotary continues to support the Red Barn Youth Center in a variety of ways, including purchasing warm coats and hoodies for the students, throwing a generous holiday party complete with gifts for each student, and providing funds and labor for the basketball court.
