About Red Barn Youth Center
Red Barn Youth Center’s mission is to provide a safe, supervised place for Key Peninsula youth in 6th through 12th grade to go after school to have fun, find guidance, develop positive relationships, and become community minded citizens.
Red Barn Youth Center offers:
A no-cost, safe social venue for youth
Sports, games, and artistic opportunities for youth
A place to receive homework help after school
Encouragement and guidance from caring adults
A help for busy parents
An opportunity to be involved in community service projects
Transportation
Peninsula School District has a bus stop at Red Barn Youth Center!
Students from KPMS and PHS/HBHS are able to ride a bus to RBYC. Students will need a signed note giving them permission to take the bus to Red Barn.
The after-school activity bus on Tuesdays and Thursdays will also stop at Red Barn 4:45pm for Middle School and 5:05pm for High School.
Students must be picked up from Red Barn no later than 6:00 PM during the school year. If you have any questions, please call the RBYC at 253-884-1594. An authorization form must be signed for students to walk to pr from Key Center.
Organization & Management
Red Barn Youth Center Board consists of a diverse group of individuals consisting of business owners, business professionals, managers, and community volunteers. The board meets on a regular basis and seeks new members.
